Dear fellow classmates, teachers, and honored guests,
I stand before you today filled with a mixture of emotions. On one hand, I am thrilled to have made it to this momentous occasion, the end of our middle school journey. On the other hand, I am filled with a sense of uncertainty, contemplating the choices that will shape my future.
The power of our choices
Throughout our middle school years, we have been presented with numerous choices that have shaped who we are today. From the choice of the friends we keep, to the activities we engage in, each decision has influenced our journey. Some choices were easy while others required courage, resilience, and sacrifice.
We have been taught that our choices have consequences. Some may seem insignificant, but even the smallest choices can have significant impacts on our futures. It is important to always be mindful of this as we move forward.
The importance of following our passions
As we enter high school and begin to think about our futures, it is important to know our passions. For some, it may be sports, for others, it may be music or science. Whatever it may be, we should always pursue our passions.
