My Family

Introduction

My name is Emily and I am in third grade. I want to tell you about my family. I live with my mom, dad, and little brother, Tommy. We are a happy family and we love spending time together. Let me tell you more about each member of my family.

My Mom

My mom's name is Jennifer. She is a teacher at the local elementary school. She loves to read books and write stories in her free time. She is very kind and always helps me with my homework. I enjoy going to the library with her and picking out new books to read together. My mom is a great cook too. She makes delicious meals for our family every day.

My Dad

My dad's name is Michael. He works in an office and wears a suit to work every day. He is a hardworking man and always tells me the importance of education and being responsible. My dad loves playing basketball and we often go to the park to shoot hoops together. He has taught me how to ride a bike and swim. He is my hero and I love spending time with him.

My Little Brother

Tommy is my little brother. He is two years younger than me and is in kindergarten. Tommy is full of energy and always keeps me on my toes. He loves playing with toy cars and building blocks. Sometimes, he can be a little mischievous, but I still love him very much. We like to watch cartoons together and have fun in the backyard. Tommy is my best friend and I can't imagine my life without him.

Family Activities

Every weekend, my family likes to do different activities together. We often go to the park for a picnic or visit the zoo to see the animals. In the summer, we enjoy going to the beach and building sandcastles. During the winter, we go sledding and make snowmen. We also love celebrating birthdays and holidays together. On Christmas, we decorate the Christmas tree as a family and exchange gifts. These special moments with my family are precious to me.
